When you send a booking inquiry through a listing page, we collect what you enter into the form — your name, email address, WhatsApp/phone number, country, requested date (and time, for niches like clinics that need a specific slot), party size, and any notes you add. This is sent directly to the venue so it can respond to you, and we keep a copy so we can help if an inquiry gets lost or disputed.

We also automatically collect standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and timestamps. This is normal web-hosting behavior used for security and to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you personally.

Two features — "Save for later" and "Recently viewed" — are stored entirely in your browser's local storage. Which places you bookmarked or viewed never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers; we simply have no access to it. Clearing your browser data, or switching device or browser, resets it.

Salaam Thailand displays advertising served by Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. These third-party vendors use cookies and similar technologies, such as web beacons, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure how visitors use the site.

We do not sell your personal data. The only outside parties who ever see it are: the specific venue you contact, Google (for advertising and analytics as described above), and infrastructure providers, such as our hosting service, who process it strictly on our behalf.

We keep booking inquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to support you and the venue — typically up to 24 months — then delete or anonymize them. Because "Saved places" and "Recently viewed" live only in your browser, you can delete that data yourself at any time by clearing your browser's site data for salaamthailand.com.

To request a copy of, or the deletion of, any information we hold about you — for example, a past booking inquiry — email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, if we add a new feature or advertising partner. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
