You cannot enter Mecca as a non-muslim. You can be fined and deported if you try to enter Mecca and you're not a muslim. However, not only can you enter the Vatican as a muslim, you can also pray there. How on earth are these people so naive as to allow this?!

Christians are being massacred in Nigeria, Sudan, Pakistan, Iraq, and India. Churches are burned, pastors beheaded, believers kidnapped and the Vatican’s headline move is giving Muslim scholars a quiet room with a carpet. That’s not diplomacy. That’s delusion. Instead of calling Islam to repentance and exposing its violence, Sam and the Vatican act like appeasement will somehow stop persecution. It never has. Appeasement emboldens it. The early church faced the Roman sword and refused to bow. They didn’t hand Caesar a prayer rug. Sam’s logic is fear-based: “We better keep them happy so they don’t hurt us.” But that’s not Christianity. That’s cowardice dressed up as prudence. Jesus didn’t say, “Be cautious as serpents so pagans won’t be mad at you.” He said, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), even if it costs your life. So yeah while Christians are being slaughtered, Rome worries about Muslim comfort, and Sam worries about optics. That’s what happens when you trade the gospel for globalism.
