I'm not Muslim and I eat pork often, but yeah similarly to a lot of things it's hard to put a taste on it, I honestly can't really compare it to anything else (also maybe the fact it was an imitation pork changed the flavor a bit idk how accurate beyond meat flavors are)

As a Muslim when I read the title, I almost nearly had a heart attack. Until he said it was "vegan". It's not even April 1st, but you got us. Edit: Warning, this comment reply section is extremely 2 sided. Edit 2: I am happy to know people are still raging over what I said a year ago.

I'm Muslim too and at school they had BBQ pulled pork sandwiches alongside our main lunch. There was a vegetarian substitute which was made of jackfruit. I tried it and it was pretty good. (I've obviously not tried the real thing but the BBQ jackfruit really tasted like meat tbh)
