Smashing place. It is a small/quiet/comfy hostel which suited me (not a loud party place). I am in late 40s and I slept in a bunk bed comfortably (I am not a hippie, rather middle class used to comforts at home). There is drinking & hot water, coffee small snacks free, you can leave your bag, small kitchenette. Internet is good. I alwasy check bad comments and did not find much except that 'Sandra from Switzerland' complained about the area being a 'getto': it is NOT. It seems to be a close knit community of locals (lots of small workshops making/rapairing jewlery). People here know each other, enjoy evenings together (including a small karaoke with a small boom box) etc. There is a morning market steps away where you get your fresh fruit and lunch box for later. Highly recommended stay just to experience this.
The thing that would make it complete would be a coin based washer and dryer (for example squeezed behind the courtain on the rooftop terrace). But given the limited space in the hostel and such service available few steps away I can see why it is skipped.

The hostel is located in a really nice local neighbourhood in the old town of Bangkok. It was a really quiet area and the facilities were really nice. The staff was wonderful and helpful even recommending leisure activities. However, the ambiance is chill and not very social, so I would definitely recommend it for people who are looking for a quiet, simple stay.

That's my second time and they still good, helpful. Place is clean, and central also. Do not hesitate

The hotel was really cute and the service was really good. It is quite small so it felt very cozy and you even have bananas and biscuits for free. The location was great to visit all the temples. I would really recommend that you stay here if you want to find a cosy place with homey vibes!
The owner doesn't speak english very well so if you want some help or recommendations, she won't really help you out. She's very nice but communication is hard. The beds are low so you can't sit without hitting you head which is not ideal. There was also a dead cockroach in the bathroom for a couple of days but I didn't mind personally.
