Mark, how clever of you to make it to Lebanon! One of my favorite countries ever! I went to the American University of Beirut couple of years ago to study Arabic and the history of the Arab world and I ended up falling in love with Lebanon. What a beautiful country! The mountains, the cedar forests ( a UNESCO heritage site), the amazing and ancient history of Lebanon known as ancient Phoenicia where the Alphabet was invented in the lovely city of Byblos, the land where Europa was born. She was born in Tyre, less than 40 Km from Beirut.. Lebanon is amazing and safe ! I’m so happy you get to live and see the wonders of that country and taste its unparalleled gastronomy . Although, the best food is generally eaten at people’s homes. The Lebanese cook like nobody else. And on top of that, they are so kind, generous and hospitable. I must go back. Greetings from Norway.

I had the privilege of eating Arabic and foods connected since I was young. I recognized tabouleh the second I saw it. This food is my TRUE soul food. The beautiful family that lived near me gave me culture I had no idea about until I was much, much older. Thank you Mark, thank you Lebanon! Blessings to all! Edit: I could eat tabouleh until I pop. It is my favorite food in the whole world!

I have Muslim and Christian friends from Lebanon let me tell you they are awesome people, I have had their food in USA many times and it is very delicious now seeing this program and the real food and hospitality takes my respect to the next level, I am so happy to see Lebanon in peace and property. GO LEBANON you deserve it.
